Naters - the Pfarrhaus

Allan showed you the church - this is where the priest lived - the plaque tells us it was built in 1461 then joined to a 12th century living tower in 1566, then restored in the 19th century, then rebuilt by the Local Council from 1973-75 with financial assistance from the neighbouring Canton of Vallais [where Brig is]! Bit like the joiner's old hammer - same one he's used for 60 years - it's only had three new handles and two new heads! I guess it is quite old though...
