The Tour Manager!

Now we are really flying! Here's a couple of shots of our excellent Tour Manager, Jan Combes, the top one at Zermatt, hobnobbing with her fellow TM [was it David? - somebody tell me and I'll edit this post!] The lower picture from Marion Harrison shows her in Paris at Gare de Lyon.

Stephen reminded me that if you want to see the original high-quality pictures of which the blog pictures are smaller copies, just double click the pic on the blog. As a default they will load into your bowser, and will probably be too big; save them and view the saved file with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. You can still then zoom in for details, but can view the whole picture fitted to frame as well. Happy posting!

'steamer' could not turn round at Interlaken and therefore had to reverse in the long channel back to the lake

On the journey back from Zermatt. This was the only decent picture I managed to get with the train window down. Lucky with vehicle to show scale.

'Happy' at Gornegrat. When talking to the man in charge I commented that the dog appeared quite old. His reply was "Oh no, this year he had 5 female dogs to keep happy". Large pinch of salt?
